The Vessel and You (Winter—6 Weeks)

$425.00

Mondays, January 6th-February 10th, 3pm-5:30pm

What do we carry with us? Also, what can’t we carry? This class explores this question while working with clay to make pots and sculptural works.

Students will be able to critically reflect on their experiences and identities through one or more ceramic pieces, thinking about what we as people store within us and how we change and adapt to our surroundings.

Class will include both wheel throwing and hand building. No prior experience is necessary.

The cost of $425 (plus taxes and fees) includes clay, glazes, and kiln firings. At no additional cost, students can also book one day of open studio per week, during which they can work independently.
